Desk-age

This is my life, yes lovely isn't it?

  1. I believe those books need more dog-eared pages and the desk, more scrap paper/notes/highlighters/coffee stains ;-)

  2. I like that NerdySexyCool - but honey I'm OCD when it comes to organization. I can't study unless my area is organized. It's a control issue - if my environment is organized there is a feeling of control - it's crazy but well we know I'm down with my craziness.

Not that you are hugely interested - my food blog is back up and running

  3. Thank you for another wonderful resource. Seriously! Many friends of mine have expressed their displeasure about my ineptness when it comes to cooking vegetarian/vegan. What can I say, I grew up a meatetarian! But now, thanks to you and your food blog, perhaps I can quell the ire of the rallying veggie-eating masses and cook something delectable without having it bleed (what am I saying???).

  4. For the record, I did bake a vegan chocolate cake once. It turned out quite yummy and everybody ate it all up (including the birthday girl) with gusto. My only problem was not having enough time to cool the cake properly (it was still too warm and ended up melting the icing/raspberry filling) and learning how get pipe icing to the right consistency. Lots of trial, error and licking spoons. Dirty job, but somebody had to do it.

  5. Well it is a dirty job and someone has to do it. As to the vegan/vegetarian cooking - the baking is actually the easy part, the main courses are where I had more problem - I do have my fail safe oven roasted curry veg with chickpeas serve it with mango chutney and roti. If you need to recipe I think I can part with it.
