I need your help ladies finding a gift - I wanted to do a box of little-r gifts representing sweet, geek and "spicy." I have the Geek - that is what started this whole idea but the spicy and the sweet I don't know really. It needs to be light enough to ship. I was thinking of the sweet being food - like hot cinnamon marshmallows and the spicy being a set of dice I found on Etsy... But I don't know a part of me wants it to be even more creative - then again I could end up in the endless cycle of trying to top myself - and it is just Valentine's Day...
PS This was my solution to the whole "keep reading" technical issue I was having
Ok, first of all EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
ReplyDeleteSecond of all *whispers* (I think I know who eeet eeees but if I'm wrong I'm still going to pretend I'm right)
Third of all I'm going to throw random ideas out there.
Sweet: of COURSE I think of candy, but sweet could also be a poem you write about/for him or maybe cookies you made or something... I keep going back to food too :)
Spicy: yeah, 'naughty' dice, a hot sauce type thing (I'm back on food again aren't I?), those 'naughty' favour coupons, an outfit you could wear next time you see him, again, something you write about spicy, a 'spicy' photo of you, ooh, a spicy book (there are some good sexy books out there)
Maybe one of my ideas will spark a good idea for you! :)
BIIIIIIIIIIG hugs :)
Yes you are right in who you think it is. I wanted to send him some candy - but he's all worried I'm going to make him fat...
ReplyDeleteHe read the whole blog - cheeky boy - so yes the dice might be an option - I definitely think that there are plenty of good spicy ideas - he does like his spicy food too.
I guess I should thank you for being our matchmaker - you should add that to your spy resume
I'm just really happy for the two of you. That it had even the smallest bit to do with me makes me want to hug the whole world. :)
ReplyDeleteWill totally add it to the spy resume!
Wow I didn't even read this post before I guessed out of the blue last night that that's what had happened. Yay me for my friend-dar.
ReplyDeleteI object to the characterization that you "didn't know it would happen" and "fought it" because they contradict each other AND... I totally called it! Didn't I make you repeat about a hundred times "I won't fall in love with boys on the internet" or somesuch mantra when you told me X was going to come visit you when you were traveling recently? I couldn't think of a reason such a quality unicorn as X would make a trip if not for a deeper interest, mmm?
That being said - tread lightly. You know your pattern, and I am relieved as your friend and Chief Voice of Reason that X seems like a FAR better match and more normal unicorn than any you've revealed in the last three years, but the long-distance is a huge concern, as is your proclivity to spend a lot of money visiting people with whom your relationship is far from sure.
On the other hand, I'm always up for a good SQUEEEEEE!
